The Wright Wilson Street project provides accommodation and support for young single homeless or vulnerably housed people aged 16 – 21 years with low to medium support needs.

Description of service and support

Accommodation consists of 12 fully furnished, self contained flats for single occupancy. Each flat has its own car park facility.  It is a 5 minute walk to town centre and local amenities.  The accommodation has a safe and secure environment, and there are 5 members of staff. We do not accept pets.

Support provided includes:
 - Essential life skills and independent living skills including managing finances and shopping; 
 - Support to gain employment and further education; 
 - Advice in claiming welfare benefits;
 - Support planning and risk assessments tailored to meet individual needs;
 - Named key worker for each individual;
 - Out of hours support provided by the NCHA SMaRT service (Support Management and Response Team);
 - Support sessions and regular service user meetings.
