Jigsaw Support Scheme provide social care projects which enhance independence and can vastly improve people's quality of life. These include floating support services to address tenancy issues, befriending, befriending lunches and a paid for domiciliary care service accessed via a personal budget or through self funding.
Description of service and support
Free floating support service in Mansfield and Ashfield to help vulnerable adults who are over 18 to remain independent at home. Support can be offered with tasks such as maintaining a tenancy, form filling, funding applications, signposting and help to access other relevant organisations for more specialist help such as debt problems or welfare benefit applications.
The independence service delivers at home, high quality and trustworthy domiciliary care for adults in North Nottinghamshire. It offers a wide range of services designed to enable people to remain independent in their own homes. This is a fee paying service and costs vary.
Befriending, both individual, for those over 60 years old who are housebound and group befriending for those able to access the community.
