Hope House - Emergency Accommodation - Hope Community Services

Hope Services provide direct access emergency accommodation for single homeless people.  Hope provide food, showers and laundry, information, advice, support and referral onto specialist services and more permanent accommodation.

                   
Description of service and support
The accommodation comprises a totalof 14 single rooms, 2 of the rooms have en suite shower/wc. There are 3 accessible rooms 1 with an en-suite wet room. Other rooms have shared facilities. There are 2 lounges/dining room that offer clients somewhere to watch TV, play games, chat or just relax in a safe, welcoming environment. There is a well maintained garden with sheltered smoking areas and pets, including dogs are accepted.

Service users are allocated a Key Worker providing regular support sessions. Training, workshops and Life Coaching are also available to help develop the skills required to enable clients to move on and maintain a tenancy.

We work in partnership with health, housing and criminal justice services. After living here a client's next steps could be to engage with specialist services to meet needs, re - engagement with family and friends, and moving on to longer term accommodation. We refer on to more permanent accommodation, local authority accommodation or private rented.

Self referral or Agency referral. Application form and risk assessment can be completed by referring agency prior to attendance at service. Need to present in person before 2pm on the day that accommodation needed. Beds allocated daily at 2pm. Priority given to Bassetlaw area.
