The Crescent Recovery Service- Framework HA

The Crescent Recovery Service is a supported housing service which provides a high level of support to people with mental health problems with additional complex needs including those with substance use issues, a history of offending behaviour or mild learning difficulties. Priority is given to applicants with a local connection to Nottingham City.

Description of service and support

This is a 21 bed supported housing project offering support to single people who experience mental health problems. Furnished rooms include facilities such as a fridge, kettle and two ring hob. Waterloo Crescent also has a move-on house, 1 Southey Street, Radford, that offers the opportunity for individuals to have a lower level of support in a bedsit or flat.

There are 14 staff and support is provided to residents to develop social and living skills and maintain a level of stability in the community. Staff work in conjunction with specialist agencies, as required.

Typically clients would progress to the move on accommodation at Southey Street or their own tenancy.
