Potter Street - Framework HA

The Potter Street Project is a supported accommodation service based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. We work with homeless individuals and couples, aged 16 years+, to secure and sustain more appropriate permanent housing. The service consists of a core hostel and move on flats. We are also able to offer limited accommodation to people who have pets.

Description of service and support

We offer high quality, self-contained accommodation consisting of 12 units in the main building (staffed 24 hrs) and an additional 25 units of move-on accommodation at two further locations in the centre of Worksop. All units include kitchen and bathroom facilities and are fully furnished. Pets are accepted here, but spaces are limited. Services provided include a range of practical advice and support, helping residents with their budgeting skills, benefits, health issues, accessing leisure activities and finding employment or training.

Most residents choose to move from the main building into one of move-on flats as a stepping stone towards living independently although some people may secure permanent housing directly. The long-term goal for most residents is to secure permanent, self-contained housing in the area.
