Forensic Mental Health Floating Support - NCHA

Forensic Mental Health Floating Support provides support to 14 people with mental health needs. Its aim is to reduce the risk of homelessness by supporting people to gain the skills to live as independently as possible.
Description of service and support

Support provided includes:
 - Setting up and maintaining a tenancy;
 - Developing domestic or life skills and advice on repairs and home maintenance; 
 - Advice and advocacy; 
 - Assistance with budgeting, benefits and form filling; 
 - Accessing healthcare, education and employment;
 - Accessing cultural and religious organisations; 
 - Finding out about local community groups. 

There are no direct costs as it is SP funded.  The service has 2 members of staff.
