Men’s Complex Needs Service - Framework HA

The Men’s Complex Needs service provides self-catered supported housing in Nottingham city which comprises individual bedrooms with shared kitchens and lounges. Focusing on harm reduction and the promotion of health and recovery, a structured support package is in place that links closely with other specialist interventions and treatment.

Description of service and support

The Men’s Complex Needs Service provides 15 bed spaces over 2 sites in the Radford area of the city. All bedrooms are furnished to a high specification. The service is self catering, pets cannot be accepted at the present time. The objective of the service is to support people with their issues, gain skills for independence reduce rough sleeping and engage with the relevant health services.

The service promotes the kind of skills and competencies that are required for residents to live independently in the future, including financial responsibility, cooking, cleaning, responsible behaviour and the promotion of personal hygiene. 

Afterwards, clients may move on to more suitable and appropriate accommodation whether it be Rehab, own tenancy or longer term supported accommodation.

Sat & Sun 12.00noon to 9.00pm

What are the restrictions on overnight guests? No overnight guests. 
What support must clients engage with? Support Planning, keyworking, access support around drugs, alcohol use and mental health issues, possible referral to services that can help with recovery and improve their health.

Hard to reach homeless men with complex needs issues around substance/alcohol misuse and mental health. Priority is given to applicants with a local connection to Nottingham City.
