Sherwood Street Centre - Framework HA

The Sherwood Street Centre offers 15 units of high quality emergency accommodation in Mansfield for people who have either been sleeping rough or at immediate risk of doing so.

Description of service and support

Sherwood Street Centre has 15 units of self contained accommodation - one of the units is suitable for a couple. Individuals will need to have a support need and be at risk of homelessness or currently rough sleeping. A local connection to Mansfield or Ashfield is needed, all individuals will be expected to work towards a support plan. 12 staff members are available. 

Services provided are designed to help residents along a journey to independent living in the community. Users are supported to learn vital new skills, to get help and/or treatment for any problems they may have, and to explore future employment and training options. 

The aim is that residents move into more long term accommodation after staying at the Sherwood Street Centre.

Self referral or agency referral are accepted for the accommodation service. Please phone or call in for an application form. The form must be completed by the applicant and/or the referral agency prior to the interview. A risk assessment is also required.
